Do You Get Enough Sleep

How many of the people in this world would love to be a slimmer size to what they currently are.? There's no must be about it, there is millions, all of them searching for that way to get to their desired size. Will being a slimmer size solve the problem? For a lot of people it will, but some who have succeeded and lost their excess weight say they were happier when they were heavier.What would you think if i said sleep can make you lose weight? You think im crazy, right..Lose weight and become a slimmer size from sleeping.

It is now a known fact that if you are dieting or trying to lose weight in any way, a poor pattern or lack of sleep may affect your weight loss goals. Lab studys have consistently shown that a big reason for weight gain can be lack of sleep. Scientists are not sure though why this happens. Many experts are currently discussing this subject and coming to conclusions.

Cortisol is one of the hormones that regulates appetite. Which is secreted by the adrenal gland. Adrenaline and cortisol are released naturally through the body daily as a normal cycle.

In many types of stressful situations, the body will call upon the adrenal gland to release adrenaline and also cortisol. This will affect you by making you feel hungry when really your not. Lack of sleep could start such an action which will result in weight gain and no slimmer size.

It is also known that if you dont get enough sleep, you are depressed and you dont move around as much as usual. So this alone causes you to gain weight.

A nice restful sleep really does have the ability to de-stress you mind and body. Lack of sleep in general tends to place you in a constant state of stress. This will cause your body to produce excess cortisol. Cortisol stimulates glucose production which due to its being in excess is converted into fat.

If you are trying lose weight, getting the right amount of sleep is so important. Poor sleep affects you physically as well as mentally. You are much more likely to be confused, short tempered and depressed when you lack proper sleep.

So remember, try your hardest to go to bed at the same time every night. Make it your rountine. Make sure you get 7-8 hours sleep. Try to wind down before going to sleep, removing makeup, applying a face mask or a bath perhaps. All these things will help you unwind before getting off to bed. A calm, pleasant frame of mind is very essential for getting good, restful sleep. Want to be a slimmer size? Get a good nights sleep and stick with your diet routine.
