Water and Weight Loss
Many people are unaware that water can play very effective role in helping them achieve their weight loss goals. not many people know that a large proportion of our body is water. Naturally it plays a very important part in our health. 75% of the lean muscle tissues are water, over 80% of blood is water, body fat and bones account for over 20% of water each. So Is it surprising then that water plays a very important role in how our bodies function?
Obviously, drinking water on its own is not going to help you lose weight. If you want to lose weight in a gradual but effective way, eating right and drinking right are the two major aspects of the natural weight loss method.
Don't forget that “bad” fats are the main culprits causing you to gain weight – eat “good fats” that provide essential fatty acids; eat Salmon, Mackerel, Herrings, and Sardines. They are beneficial to your blood pressure, prevent blood clotting and lower risk of heart failure and increase your chances of effective weight loss.
Friendly proteins help you curb your cravings for food. They are essential in building muscles or weight loss. Some Low fat milk products such as skimmed milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, and fish are classed as “good“ proteins.
Carbohydrates like beans, vegetables, fruits, and whole grains are digested by the body slowly and that's why they are natural hunger-suppressants; they are also quite low in fats and calories.
Eat good fiber foods. Good fiber foods do not contain many calories and they are filling. They do help in suppressing hunger. also fiber does not get digested by the body and while passing through the body it attaches to some of the fats and proteins that we eat; so they are taken out of the system without being digested! How good is that for weight loss! Apples, figs, broccoli, strawberries, brown rice, beans, bran and nuts are all good fiber foods.
Water plays two important roles in helping you lose weight. Cravings for food are felt when the body dehydrates; if water is drank in reasonable and good measure it suppresses hunger giving you a much better chance of weight loss. Liver provides stored fats for energy; water helps metabolism allowing kidneys to flush out waste.
Many people will find it surprising that drinking cold water can burn the excess fat in the body; if you drink ice cold water it uses over 60 calories a day from the body –so the body has to consume over 420 calories a week to raise the temperature of the ice cold water to the body temperature. What a way to beat that excess fat and achieve some effective weight loss!
As you can see, water plays an important role in helping you to lose weight; it is a natural appetite suppressant, it helps in weight loss and generally is a major component in natural weight loss practice.

Good point. A lot of people think that water has some miracle property that can help you lose weight. What's special about water is that it's calorie free. If you use it to replace high calorie drinks such as fruit juices or sodas, you'll stay hydrated and cut down on calories (about 120 per 8oz you replace).
Check out some foods that fill you up.
